- A road booking does not imply door-to-door service into Macao; some coaches end at Gongbei.
- Ordinary Shenzhen number plates do not authorize driving into Macao. Confirm cross-border vehicle permission separately.

Entry & mainland return
Macao entry and mainland re-entry are separate. A foreign worker should check the original passport and actual residence permit or visa, including validity and any remaining entries. A work-permit card or a pending application is not itself a re-entry document. Confirm uncertain cases with immigration before leaving.

Outer Harbour serves the peninsula; Taipa is a different ferry terminal. Shenzhen Airport / Fuyong is separate from Shekou. Check the terminal printed on each ticket rather than relying on a city name.

The local currency is the Macao pataca (MOP). Confirm accepted payment methods with each business, carry a backup and check any currency conversion before paying.

Check both directions with the operator and read current disruption notices. A scheduled route is not a seat guarantee; poor sea conditions can change or cancel sailings.

Macao’s immigration guidance requires an accepted travel document valid for at least 90 days beyond the intended stay. Exemption, advance-visa and entry-permit arrangements depend on nationality and document.
Chinese and Portuguese are official languages. Language support at individual businesses varies. Keep hotel and terminal names in Chinese as a practical backup.
