Huaqiangbei 华强北

Futian

Huaqiangbei · Lines 2 / 7

Best for: Components, gadgets, repairs
Atmosphere: Busy, specialist, counter-led
Prices: Compare specifications and written quotes
Local tip: Bring model numbers. Test compatibility and agree the warranty before paying.

Good deals here

Open guide

Choose the building and product category first. One small order and a wholesale enquiry can receive very different terms; ask what quantity, condition and after-sales support the quote includes.

Dongmen 东门

Luohu

Laojie · Lines 1 / 3; Dongmen · Line 5

Best for: Fashion, accessories, local food
Atmosphere: Lively pedestrian shopping streets
Prices: Marked prices and counter quotes vary by shop
Local tip: Compare the fabric, fit and returns terms. Ask whether the quoted price is fixed.

Good deals here

Open guide

Give the lanes time rather than planning a single shop. Tailoring services, sizes and collection dates need checking with the individual business. Keep a food break close to your shopping route.

Hubei & Hubeili 湖贝 · 湖贝里

Luohu

Hubei · Lines 2 / 8 and 5

Best for: Neighbourhood exploring and a food stop
Atmosphere: An area in active transformation
Prices: Check the current shop and menu
Local tip: Hubeili mall and Hubei’s historic village are different places. Confirm your destination.

Good deals here

Open guide

Use a current map and public routes. Historic-lane access can change during redevelopment; this guide does not promise an intact village walk or access through works. Hubeili is the modern mall option nearby.

Shuibei 水贝

Luohu

Shuibei · Line 3; choose your building first

Best for: Gold, jewellery and specialist sourcing
Atmosphere: Focused trading floors and showrooms
Prices: Ask for the complete weight, purity and fee breakdown
Local tip: Compare the total price, certificate and seller details. A low headline rate is only part of the quote.

Good deals here

Open guide

Choose a specific market or showroom before travelling. Ask the seller to state purity, net metal weight, stone details, workmanship and other charges separately, with the invoice and after-sales terms.

Futian

Donggualing · Line 10; confirm your entrance

Local tip: Choose the exact mall entrance and check the walking route. Outdoor sections still depend on weather.

Good deals here

Open guide

Use the Chinese name to find the right complex. Combine shops with a meal and a relaxed look around the public spaces; verify individual store hours and any event or park connection before setting off.

MixC World 万象天地

Nanshan

Hi-Tech Park · Line 1

Best for: Designer brands, dining and browsing
Atmosphere: A modern mall with open-air streets
Prices: Mostly marked retail prices
Local tip: Search 万象天地. MixC World is distinct from Shenzhen’s other MixC malls.

Good deals here

Open guide

Plan a small cluster of stores and leave space for dining or a weather break. Check current family facilities, events and store details directly with the mall; a family outing does not require a ticketed attraction.
