Location and price are mechanical — they come straight off each entry. The third axis is editorial, so every pick there shows the reason it qualifies.
Editorial. Every pick shows its reason.
These are real, crawlable directories rather than filters hidden behind a button. Each page explains why every restaurant qualifies.

Two things this directory does not cover, and I would rather say so. There is no halal category: one of the forty-five notes halal options on its menu, which is not the same as a halal kitchen, and that is not a label to guess at. And there are no Bao’an restaurants here yet — the district has plenty, I just have not eaten in enough of them to write it honestly.
Nothing on this page is paid placement. Restaurants can buy a labelled slot alongside it — what that costs, and what it cannot buy.
The serious tables — book these weeks ahead, and expect a wine pairing to double the number.

Open section →The international end of the city — more non-Chinese kitchens per street than anywhere else in Shenzhen.
Open section →Where the business dinners happen, mostly on the upper floors of malls.
Open section →These are the original editorial listings and notes, reorganized into dedicated sections. This redesign does not represent a new check of prices or availability.
