Xiaomeisha

小梅沙

Choose the visit you want: Xiaomeisha Sea World, the beach and resort, or a coastal walk. They have different entrances and admission arrangements, even when a promotion combines parts of the experience.

A planned marine-attraction visit, a seaside stay and coastal scenery.

What to check

Check each ticket product, the exact entrance and the daily errands you would need beyond a resort stay.

Metro starting points

Decide between the marine attraction, beach and coast

The rebuilt Xiaomeisha Sea World reopened on 1 October 2024. The district's October 2026 guide lists marine exhibition zones, including polar and tropical pavilions and the Blue Cave Hall.

Decide whether the aquarium-style visit is your main activity or whether you want time outdoors. Read the specific ticket terms before assuming that beach entry, re-entry or a particular show is included.

  • Match the ticket name to the entrance you plan to use.
  • Check age, height and identity-document rules for everyone in the group.

Use Xiaomeisha Station for the named venue

The official Sea World directions use Xiaomeisha Station Exit C and identify the attraction on the Xiaomeisha section of Yankui Road. For a hotel or the beach, save that venue's entrance separately.

Keep the return rail trip in your plan, particularly if staying for an evening programme. Check the actual train destination on the platform.

  • Use reception or the attraction entrance as your route destination.
  • Confirm the pickup point with a driver if leaving after an evening visit.

A resort stay and a home need different checks

For a short stay, compare what the room rate includes, the walk to your booked attraction and the options for meals outside the hotel. Ask about deposits, breakfast, late arrival and cancellation before booking.

For a home, look beyond the holiday plan: find your regular grocery shop, pharmacy and the route to work or school. Check the building on a weekday and a busy leisure day, and ask about ventilation, damp and maintenance.

  • Compare the total stay cost with all attraction tickets included.
  • Do the full journey to your own daily destination before committing to a lease.

Coastal reading stops and the way toward Beizaijiao

The district directory lists Guanhai Library at the Xiaomeisha boardwalk rest station and Wanghai Library at the Beizaijiao rest station on Shenkui Road. These are names to locate while choosing a coastal outing; check their opening notices before expecting an indoor break.

The upgraded coastal cycling route reaches Beizaijiao. Choose the section and return point in advance, then follow local signs for present access and permitted uses.

  • A coastal destination name does not guarantee a continuous walk from your hotel.
  • Check the forecast and path notices before extending the outing eastward.

Keep one main booking at the centre of the day

Build your first visit around one confirmed attraction or beach plan. Add the coast only when the access, weather and return journey work for your group.

  • Check the current official ticket product, entry time and any identity-document requirements.
  • Save the exact entrance and return station before departure.
  • Check show schedules on arrival and allow the rest of the day to follow from your chosen main activity.

Make your first visit count

  1. The actual Sea World, beach or resort ticket product
  2. Entry window, re-entry and any included beach access
  3. Current programme and indoor venue arrangements
  4. Coastal access, daylight and return transport
