Beach, park and coastal path
Dameisha Seaside Park sits on Dapeng Bay. The city's park directory describes an approximately 1.4 km beach, landscaped areas and pedestrian bridges. The eastern beach sculptures and the Wish Tower provide useful landmarks when arranging a meeting point.
A park visit and a swim are separate plans. Check the entrance notice and the conditions at the designated swimming area on arrival; change your plan if bathing is restricted.
- Arrange a precise meeting point if your group splits up.
- Choose one main activity before adding the coastal path.
Arrive at Dameisha, then choose the right entrance
Dameisha Station serves the area on the Line 8 corridor. The district's October 2026 boardwalk guide identifies Exit A for the coastal-walk approach. Use the park's own current directions for your chosen beach entrance.
For a hotel or apartment, plan all the way to reception or the compound gate. If driving, check current traffic and parking arrangements for the date rather than applying an old holiday notice.
- Save the return station and the address of your accommodation.
- Check whether your walking route has steps if using a stroller or wheelchair.
Try a normal weekday before considering a home
Walk from a candidate building to groceries, a pharmacy and the Metro with the same bags or stroller you would normally carry. Repeat the main route on a busy weekend to see whether the setting still suits you.
The public library directory lists Qixi Library by the lake at Dameisha Outlets Phase II, as well as Yuehai and Tinghai coastal reading venues. Check their current location and opening notices when planning an indoor break.
- Ask about damp, air conditioning, balcony upkeep and building maintenance.
- Confirm any school route and admissions directly; a seaside address establishes neither.
Add one section of the boardwalk
The Dameisha boardwalk follows the rocky coast, with bridges and viewing platforms. The district highlights Yuehai and Tinghai as places combining coastal views with reading spaces.
Pick an open section and turn back while everyone is comfortable. A named route on a map does not establish its condition after a storm or whether every segment permits cycling.
- Check the forecast before setting out onto an exposed section.
- Keep a shorter park-only plan for heat, rain or a tired group.
A simple beach day with a useful return plan
Keep the first outing flexible so that park access, the weather and your group's energy can decide how much you add.
- Check the latest park entrance, bathing and weather notices before leaving.
- Start with the park and beach landmarks, then choose a meal and one coastal section if conditions suit.
- For a housing comparison, leave time for the shops and station route beyond the beachfront.
Make your first visit count
- Current park entrance and any visitor reservation notice
- Bathing restrictions and lifeguard instructions
- Coastal-path closures and the return station
- Parking or traffic measures if driving
