YOUR DAILY ROUTE

[ ] Test the door-to-door route at your normal departure time.
[ ] Walk the actual station exit to the building entrance.
[ ] Repeat the journey after dark and on a busy beach weekend.
[ ] Check the last train and an alternative journey home.

THE HOME
[ ] Confirm landlord identity and ownership documents.
[ ] Check daylight, ventilation, humidity and signs of mould.
[ ] Test air conditioning, water pressure and hot water.
[ ] Listen for traffic, freight activity, construction and neighbours.
[ ] Confirm lifts, building access, parking and delivery arrangements.
[ ] Get rent, deposit, agency fee, management and utilities in writing.
[ ] Confirm furnishing inventory, repair duties and early termination.
[ ] Check whether the home can support your required address registration.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
[ ] Walk to groceries, pharmacy and your regular daily services.
[ ] Confirm current school admissions and the real school journey.
[ ] Check the return trip from the beach or mountain trail.
[ ] Read current beach access, ticketing and reservation notices.
[ ] Check weather warnings and closures before a coastal or mountain outing.
[ ] Check Shatoujiao Port status and eligibility before planning a crossing.
