[ ] Choose a base: Tangkou countryside, Kaiping city or Chikan area.

[ ] Check current opening hours, ticket rules and tower interior access.
[ ] Confirm the return train and allow time for the station transfer.

Possible stops (suggested visit lengths, excluding transfers)
- Zili Village: 2–3 hours
- Li Garden: 1–2 hours
- Majianglong: 2–3 hours
- Jinjiangli: 1–2 hours
- Yinglong Lou at Sanmenli: around 1 hour; confirm access first

UNESCO Kaiping Diaolou and Villages comprises Zili/Fang Clan Watch Tower,
Majianglong, Jinjiangli and Sanmenli. Li Garden is an additional heritage
visit; Chikan Ancient Town is outside this UNESCO property.
